3 Chain Jewelry
Dainty but not too dainty
Bracelet AND Necklace
I really like the idea of making jewelry that someone can wear as a necklace or a bracelet. Therefore after using this principle in the Herringbone series I applied this idea to the 3 Chain Jewelry too. However this time I am using a combination of different chains.

Different types of chain
I use different combinations of Rope, Box, Curb, Bismarck, Mariner, Wheat, Fox-tail, Snake, Serpentine, Cobra, Herringbone and variations of these chains.
Two weights
The 3 Chain Jewelry comes in two weights. The standard ones are made of 2 to 2.5 mm chain. My favorites are the thin ones made of 1 to 1,5 mm chain. With these last ones I used the original 925 silver labels attached to the vintage chains as decorative elements in between the components. As always, I make use of “used” or vintage sterling silver chain. Sometimes the silver chain is just “used” whereas other pieces of chain are vintage (old), and more importantly, are not being produced anymore.
Which size?
If you want to wear one as a bracelet make sure you buy one that is the right size. Your wrist size is the number of cm your wrist measures just above the bone. Consequently add an extra 1 to 1.5 cm to this to find the perfect size for the 3 Chain Jewelry. For example: if your wrist measures 16.5 cm the right size would be 17 or 17.5 cm (or anything in between).
Each piece of jewelry is unique and numbered (on the tag). Take a look at some examples I have in stock in my shop.
